Children grow up here

No through‑traffic, no screens in the orchard, a lake to learn to swim in. What childhood looks like at Zen Valley.

Ask a family why they chose Zen Valley and most of them start with their children. A childhood with room to run, animals to feed, neighbours who know your name and a sky you can actually see is something the city stopped offering a generation ago.

Every day

Hens before school. The earth road to the learning centre. The lake in summer, the fire in winter. Goats coming home at dusk. Dinner that the children helped pick. None of it is organised; it is simply what the valley is.

The learning centre

Weekend sessions for children cover seeds, bees, compost and stars, so the next generation grows up knowing how the valley works and why. The stargazing evening in winter is theirs more than anyone's.

Room to run, and someone always watching from a veranda.

Safety

There is no through‑traffic in Zen Valley. The roads are earth and gravel, contour‑following and slow. Every plot has its own boundary, and the valley has one entrance. Children roam the way they used to.

Come and see the land.

The valley is best understood standing in it. Message us and we will arrange a visit.
